If you are an Irish resident and don’t have a GMS card, you should ensure your family are registered on the DPS, even if you don’t currently have high medical bills.

Under the DPS, a family pays a maximum of €100 per month for approved medicines and appliances for use by that person or his / her family in that calendar month. It is recommended that you use the same pharmacy each month, or 2 separate €100 may be paid, one of which will have to reclaimed from the local HSE office.

To apply, simply ask a member of our staff for an application form (you will need your PPS number). You will receive a white card from the health board for each member of the family.
